What type of Scotch do you prefer?

I'm a Scotch n00b, but I like Glenlivet thus far. I'm thinking of trying a bottle of Glenmorangie in a month or so.

What are you talking about? A good scotch is the elixir of the gods along with cognac. By far my favorite drink and has been since I was ~24.

Peaty, smoky, sweet, and warm. Nice rich flavor without the mediciny characteristic that other scotches exhibit.

I like the single malts. Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, and Macallan are all great scotches. I always wanted to try that Jack Daniels "single barrell."

I hate all the glens. they taste like feet.

talisker and oban are the best in the $45-$60 range.
