What type of jet is this?

Just saw two jets take off that appear to be similar in shape as the above. Any idea what type of jet it is?
 
That plane in the pic is B-1 B lancer. Mach 1 capability. The earlier version had a Mach 2 capability, but the reason they went slower is that US is broke now.

No they changed to mission profile, from high altitude penetration to low. And needed to make it more stealthy.

Despite upgrades, the B-1 has repair and cost issues resulting from its age. For every flight hour it needs 48.4 hours of repair

I wonder what had more maintaince to operate... the SR-71 or the B-1.
