What type of hardware do you need to watch TV on your computer? If so, what's the best one?

you either need a dedicated tv card or a 2d/3d/tv card

i have the hauppauge wintv-d (dedicated tv card). it's cheap, and quality isn't great, but like i said, it's cheap.

i believe the ati all-in-wonder radeon is another good card, but it's a complete vid card, not just a tv tuner

there is all in wonder rage pro, all in wonder radeon, voodoo3 3500tv, G450tv
that would save you a pci slot which is valueable
or you have plenty pci slot to kill
get tv card, any would do
such as wintv, or tv wonder...etc
