I only own 2. I carry a 2-tone Ed Brown classic custom loaded with 230gr. Remington Golden Sabers. This is carry this every day in a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 IWB holster. I bought this from a friend and it was never fired. I only paid $2500. Then for the house I have a Armalite M15A4 loaded with Cor-Bon 55gr Blitz King (40rd magazine) The only reason I was able to afford these was because I got a $5000 income tax refund.

Wow - nice guns!

I have a Glock 17 w/two preban 17-round magazines and two 10-round magazines. I shoot white-box Winchester FMJ at the range and 124-grain +P Speer Gold Dots for defense. Next gun will probably be a Para Ordnance 7.45 LDA Compact.

Nice guns Sean. You may want to look into using a shotgun for indoor home defense. A Reminton 870 pump gun loaded with #6 shot is supposed to be the best option for HD. The #6 shot may seem strange as apposed to buckshot, but if you are familier with how a shotgun works, then you know that the shot comes out the barrel in a tight package, and stays that way for a few feet, acting similer to a solid bullet. Rips a nice hile in a BG, and if you miss, has minimal penetration compared to buckshot.

As for my guns, if I have any, I would be a little cautious about saying what you have with the overabundance of way left libs that post on this board.

I own a couple that have not been shot in years(high-power rifles)

My main guns for the past 5 years are: ruger 10/22 no scope pleeze and mossberg 500 pump 20 gauge.

Ammo is cheap and they both get the job done...

I had a mossberg 500 but my wife has trouble shooting it, she is however very accurate within 25 yards with the Armalite, and with the 55gr. blitz king there is little chance of overpenetration, they are like minature grenades when the hit soft tissue (just ask the skunk who was tearing my garbage apart every night.

Unless you live 5 miles from your nearest neighbor, this is a terrible choice for home defense. Beautiful, drool material, though.🙂

Not strange at all. I use #4 in my Mossberg. Buck and slugs are reserved for fun at the range.

Don_Vito,

I have seven pre-ban 15 round mags for my 92FS, all originals.😀

Nice collection! I must admit I envy the relative availability and cheapness of prebans for the 92FS - they are readily available for my Glock but considerably more expensive (I paid $65 each for two). I suspect the major benefit of prebans is psychological (if I ever have a reason to fire more than ten rounds in a handgun battle, things are probably not going to get much better with a few more), but I can't see having a gun as big as a 92FS or a G17 with only ten rounds! Hopefully under a GWB regime the 10-round limt will not be renewed when it lapses in 2004, but we shall see . . .

Whoops! Wrong thread. That can happen when you have four thread windows open at once. hehe

What type of firearms do I own? Nunya...

Russ,
What kind of shotgun is that? Did you have to buy a kit or something to get that grip/short barrel?

well, we know its a mossberg.

BTW Russ, what kind or rifle and HG's are they?

i see the 92FS, and I think a browning hi power, but i'm not too sure of the rest

Even more so after they were banned. It's like, hey, I'll get as many as I can you gun-grabbers!😀

Very true. It ain't like the movies. In real life, if it lasts more then the first couple rounds, we're probably dead.

Mossberg 500. The barrel is stock length of 18.5", the pistol grip is an aftermarket kit.

And which room do you keep the Armalite in? Is there anyone at the house during the day? Do you have an alarm system? Uhm, what's your address, anyway? Just checking.... 😀

I've got a SKS (for fun rifle shooting), got a 16ga Winchester pump (last patent date on it was 1913) that was given to me by my grandpa, got a 410 pump (my first gun that my dad gave me that was his first gun when he was a kid), and a H&K USP 40.

I have a Winchester .30-.30, a Ruger .22 handgun, a Mossberg 12 gauge. Nothing fancy, but I do enjoy shooting them 🙂.

Nice collection Russ...specially like the Mossberg.

I own an SKS and a vintage Japanese 7.7.
