Seriously just something with your first and last name, and something you will keep long after you leave school/your current job. Employers do not care what specific domain you're using.

When I'm looking at resumes, I like the ones that are some-relation-to-name@host.com. Though, anything that's not totally tasteless is fine.

A university email might carry some stigma, but it would be overruled by any actual experience listed on the resume. Honestly, the email address is one of the last things I look at.

Personally, I use firstname@lastname.com. I fracking love google apps.

This...for the most part, as long as your e-mail name isn't in poor or questionable taste (ie. pimpdaddy or bestworkerever), a generic name or firstname.lastname AT e-mail.com is fine, whether it be gmail, yahoo, or other. Although for access reasons you should reconsider taking an educational (with the exception of an alumni acct) or work account since you'll lose access if no longer working/attending...

Spelling/grammar errors are a bigger issue than what e-mail addy you use...

who cares what the domain is just dont have it like XXXSmoker420WeedXXX@hotmail.com and you will be fine.

don't laugh...I have seen a lot of resume email addys with '420' in them and with the x____x bullshit.

Everyone should have a simple first/last name type email for resumes unless the job is suited to something more alluring.

Applying for a porn job: xxx_SexYLadYLipZ@gfy.com_xxx maybe great, applying for a church job, not so.
