Please recommend me some. It doesn't need to be running currently, past TV series are also ok.

TV series that I watched and liked:
- Rome
- Sopranos
- Sex and the City
- The Office
- Family Guy
- Simpsons
- Friends (the later seasons sucked)
- Entourage

For past things, if you never saw Alias, it's a really great show up until the last season. But you have to start at th ebeginning or the whole point of what's going on will be completely lost on you

Traveler is also an awesome show but it got canceled for some unknown reason after like 8 episodes.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel -- great foreshadowing, continuity and character development over years.
Forever Knight - the original vampire cop, eh?

I don't see many people mentioning Life but it is OUTSTANDING.

I LOVE family guy but have yet to see an episode of American dad that is any good. Mind you I've only seen 2 or 3 but they have all been flat as can be.

its gotten better. its as good as family guy most of the time
