WhAT?! ?! Tron 3?!

Tron in 3d on my home theater was an amazing experience.

I wish I had seen it in Imax. The sound track is amazing.
 
Tron 2 was such an atrociously bad film I wish I had my money and time back. There is no way in hell I'm watching the next incarnation of that turd.

I saw it in 3D in IMAX... you missed NOTHING. The story line, acting etc was still just as shitty.

Honestly, even the 3D etc wasn't all that crazy.
I just could NOT get past how shitty the story was.

I think Disney is in for a rude awakening with 3. Legacy made a truck ton of cash as it suckered in people like me that relished the original and paid money opening weekend to see the 2nd coming. Sadly the 2nd coming didn't come close to delivering, and thus, I, and I'm sure MANY OTHERS won't give a rats ass about Tron 3.
 
I liked Tron: Legacy.. But then again, I tend to like movies like that. And yes, the soundtrack was awesome! Looking forward to more.

LOL I knew what part you were talking about. But honestly, I didn't see that as a gateway to III. I just saw it as a "all is right with the world" ending.
That TRON who was good, then turned bad, is now back to "good". Everything is A-OK

Yea the gateway to 3 is Quora in the real world and the hints that they dropped about Dillinger's son in both the movie and the viral campaign and the recently release short. Pretty sure it will pick up with Sam and Quora in RL and then they have to go back inside or some such.

Tron 2 was entertaining enough that I may be interested in this.

I'll agree that this is a possible interpretation, I was more than slightly than inebriated when I saw the movie in the theaters and I haven't seen it again yet

I actually flipped through it on BluRay last night (my my it IS VERY pretty) and that is what kind of spurred this post. I re-realized it was a clunker and saw the potential sequel ending and googled it up. Sure as shit, there it was Tron III.

All this being said, I think I may watch it this weekend with my 9yr old with the stereo turned up to 11 🙂
