What tools do you use to repair/build computer?

So, what tools/tool set do you use when working on your computer? Sorry if this was posted already. I found nothing in my search attempts. Thanks!

I have a giant tool set in it's own case given to me by my mother-in-law. It's worth like $800. I usually only use a philips head screwdriver though. Tweezers sometimes.

Phillips screwdriver, tweezers for jumpers, and occaisionly a little flathead screwdriver for hard to reach dipswitchs. That's it I think

I have a $5 CompUSA computer repair kit. The only thing in it I use a lot is the little vial to hold all my extra case screws. Other than that, I use my Leatherman and my Swiss Army knife more than anything, and sometimes I use a separate Phillips screwdriver. Right now I'm also using a flathead screwdriver to kick-start my comp every morning now that my power switch broke on me.

I have a couple of tool kits similar to this one of which I usually use the nut driver, the philips screw driver and three claw parts retriever. The claw comes in handy to start and finshing removing screws in hard to reach locations.

That's the toolkit I got from my brother for Christmas. Works great.

I got some little Radio Shack tool kit, which I got for Christmas a few years ago. As for what I actually use out of it, I use the Phillips head screw driver, needle nose plyers (I find them less flimsy that tweezers), and the wire cutter/stripper.

Just a phillips and a flathead screwdriver. Got a nice little set of Magnetic stanley's at Walmart, perfect sized, for 5 bucks. I use them.

leatherman micro does it all!!...almost, sometimes I need a long phillips head.
I also have a caat 5 stripper/crimper I carry

I have a Milwaukee battery powered screwdriver with a 6" magnetic phillips bit (absolute neccessity)!
A small needle nose pliers for changing jumpers.
A straight blade screwdriver with a 6" x 3/16" tip, for applying heatsinks.
Wire ties and a tiewrap gun.
A box cutter. (do not take on airlines)
Felt tip permanent marker.
Heatsink compound.
Magnifing Glass with light.

I have a really short and fat adjustable/flippable screwdriver that does both philips and flat. Its fat so has lotsa torque for those really tight screws. Basically that's my most used tool, and its set as a philips most of the time.

Other than that, i have a longer screwdriver for hard to reach places(left side of HDD for example), a pair of small, sharp pliers for jumpers and a torchlight.

Last fall I put two TBird computers together with a steak knife, butter knife and spoon. It got the job done but after that I went and bought a screwdriver set.

If you're into case mods; Greenlee punches, holesaws, Dutchman snips and a drill press all come in handy.

Unless you mess with wires and electronics, just buy a $10 CompGeeks.com computer kit.

Use an old egg carton to hold screws and such. You can use each "compartment" to hold the fasteners etc. as you remove them then then just re-install in opposite order. Keeps me from making mistakes, after a while all those little pieces start to look alike.
