Basically the same thing I wear to work. No jacket though just a regular wool coat over it.
 
Why don't you ask your coworkers? Or... specify the type of dress usually worn to those parties and be more specific in your OP. 😛

I've been to holiday parties where everyone dressed in their "best" clothing - suits, gowns, etc., and I've also been to holiday parties where everyone dressed down... jeans + sweaters. It depends on the company.
