Couple your Slates with a fairly decent dress shirt, tie, and appropriate shoes, and you'll be well-attired for court. In other words, dress as you would for a theater show or Easter Sunday church services, and you'll do fine

Believe me that appearance presents an attitude.
Dress right!
Take responsibility. Judges hate excuses and lies.
Ask for leniency, don't demand or display entitlement.
