suit, if it's a formal wedding. Dress shirt and slacks if it's a "budget" wedding. Just never dress better than the groom 😉

<----- been to too many weddings these past few months :|

see?! wadda I tell ya? Brides maids are all dogs! Not the best time to hit them up anyway, cause they've got a wedding fresh in their minds.

The weddings I've been to in the last 3 years had maybe 2% of the men in suits. And those were all men who were 40+ years old. Sadly, you'd be way out of place in a suit. Heck, a dress shirt and a tie may even be overdressed (but that is what I would wear myself).

Are you kidding me? You must live in some ass-backwards sh!thole.

Proper wedding attire is as follows:

  • A dark suit is always appropriate. You can't lose.
A light-coloured suit is appropriate in the summer months only. Linen and seersucker as well.
If the wedding is in the evening, wear a dark suit.
If it's black tie it means tuxedo.
If it's black tie (optional) tux or dark suit.

Never:

  • Wear black during a daytime wedding.
    Wear white. Period.

Actually... let's see... the matron of honor was one of my best friends (and married to one of my best friends)... one of the bridesmaids was a friend from hgih school (though I got her number and will grab lunch with her in a few weeks)... the rest were high school age so .
