What to use to clean hardwood?

Are you talking about hardwood floors or cabinets or something?

If you are asking about floors is it a 3/4 oak plank floor, or one of the newer pre-finished floors like Bruce flooring?

Pledge.

Heh, seriously though a friend of mine's husband waxed their hardwood floors with pledge. Well, pledge is a waxy substance and basically turned their floor into a skating rink if you're wearing socks.

Use... that oil of orange stuff. Works great and smells good too.

That is what I ended up getting. I will have to try Murphy's as well.

Yes, hardwood floors and it is not pre-finished.

pledge.... lmao, don't use pledge on the floors or you'll end up on your a@@ when you try to walk through the room wearing socks...

The most important thing to remember is to keep the floor as dry as possible. Any moisture that can get between the planks will cause some damage, and over time the accumulation of small amounts of moisture can cause warping and discoloration of the wood.

If the floor is properly sealed and cared for it should only need to be cleaned once a year or so, most of the time, just sweeping to remove the abrasive dirt and dust will be enough.
