I've tried Trillian, But it does not work with ALL the features of AIM correctly.

Is there an alternative to Aim?

i've tried trillian and miranda

trillian was a bit cluttered

miranda is neat and simple, but lacks some features and if you're a newbie or lack the patience, it's not that easy to customize

never tried pidgin.

I really like Pidgin on my Vista machine, but it looks like complete crap under XP. I still use it though.

If you want all the features of AIM, its not good though. I have real AIM installed for when I need webcam or something. Pidgin is iffy on file transfers sometimes.

I find Trillian Pro the best it fits my needs but there are few things I wish Trillian Pro to work with webcam for AIM and MSN too. Yahoo and Trillian are not good with webcam but I don't use it very much. I don't like Pidgin but it works ok on my noteook with vista. Pidgin does not have what Trillian Pro have.
