That's the one to try.

Plus get a large order of Criss-cut fries....

Carl's Jr is one of my favorite joints...too bad they are few and far between here in TX.

Is that just a rebrand of Hardees?

They are the same company, just different brands on each coast.

Actually, according to the Wikipedia entry, Hardee's was a seperate chain that was bought by the guy that started Carl's Jr. After that, they started having some menu items in common.

In 1997, CKE Restaurants acquired Hardee's, a restaurant chain with 2,500 locations in the Midwest, Southeast and East Coast regions. Hardee's restaurants are gradually being converted to be more like Carl's Jr, with some of the same menu items and even adopting the same star logo.

Six Dollar Burger no doubt. Thens theres the $1 Spicy Chicken which is great if your low on money because its not crappy like other $1 menus. The new Philly Cheese Steak burger is pretty good too.

 Thanks for the enlightenment. I had only been in one Hardee's, the menu is almost the same as a Carl Jr's just slightly different names on things.

It's not on the menu, but they'll do a custom for you and it's the BEST.

Double Guacamole Six Dollar Burger w/an onion ring on top.

That's my favorite. It's a heart-stopper, so try and make it your only meal of the day and eat it on a day where you've burned/are gonna burn a LOT of calories.

I had always read the same thing, that they were just East and West Coast names of the same chain. I only discovered differently when I started to research the topic after the one up here opened.

Only time I was at a Carl's Jr. was when I visited Arizona back in 2000, and I got the green burrito(?).

As to Hardee's, they were a completely different chain before Carl's Jr. began their rebranding. They jacked up all the prices, but at the same time, the quality is better now.

I was under the assumption that Carl's Jr. is basically the same as Hardees and if this is so, then you should get one of their milkshakes.

Been wanting to try the Philly Cheesteak burger!!!

Man........I'm gettin' hungry now!! LOL!!!

Carl's & Hardees are similar but not exactly the same.

So Cal born & raised, always had Carl's. Been back east a few times & Hardees have different things. I'd say about 80% of the menu is the same if I had to guess.

99 cent spicy chicken sandwhich

thats all you need to know. get like 3 of em.

They also have specials through out the year for like 99cent jalepeno burgers, or double cheese burgers.. .theyre the best.
