What to put in a ham sandwich? First time.

I never eat ham because it's too 'plain'.

I normally eat roast beef & mustard or turkey breast & mayo.

So... what do I put in a ham sandwich? Ketchup? Mayo? I also have provolone.

I actually hate mustard and swiss cheese, unless they're paired together on a ham sandwich.

add veggies to personal preference.

Ham and cheese with grape jelly on Polish Baka bread.
Ham, cheese, mayo, and Bread and Butter Pickles on any good bread.

Chopped ham fried with egg, cheese and boiled Potatoes. Big plus for Bacon grease.

microwave the ham a bit, then put the cheese on the ham and let it melt.

Start with the basic setup:

Fresh bread of your choice
Mayo (or miracle whip if you like that)
fresh, juicy ham (not dry)
Crisp, fresh, lightly chilled lettuce

See how you like it and experiment from there.

mustard and mayo are the 2 obvious choices

i prefer Swiss or cheddar with ham, but TBH any cheese you like will work

any bread thats not plain white bread will also work,

typically i just put lettuce onion and pickle on mine, however if im going all out ill pull out the sprouts and greek olives as well

Cheese, pretty much any non-moldy cheese will do

Put the other stuff on the ham on a plate and enjoy.

Mustard, tomato, fresh basil, and your favorite cheese. On rye.

Put butter (garlic butter? everything's better with garlic...) on the outside of the bread and then grill it.

Serve with side salad and beer.
