What to get to play HD/Bluray?

Hello all!
I'm wondering what level of hardware I need to get and how much it will cost to just play Bluray?

I already have a HD 2600 256 mb video card (PCI express) that cost $40, and when I get MIR it will be $20.

What is the minimum CPU/mobo I need? I figure about $120 for Bluray/HD DVD combo drive.

Don't worry about hard drives. I need suggestions on CPU, RAM, mobo and PSU.

Thanks!

Here's a good start to answer your questions and possibly enlighten you on anything you may have overlooked. I do believe that WinDVD is more forgiving in terms of HDCP (a buddy of mine was talking about a hack or something in that realm) since his monitor is not HDCP compliant and PowerDVD refused to play any protected content.

As far as PSUs are concerned, that is quite dependent of your CPU and graphics card demand. If you want to play it safe, just get anything that's capable of producing a clean 500W or more of power and you're good to go. I'm a fan of Antec, Enermax, and PC Power and Cooling.

Good luck,
~Travis
