Zen Micro
For the same price you get 1 GB more, built in FM tuner/recorder, voice recorder and it has an easily removable battery.

There are only a few reasons to choose a Mini over the Micro. If you want a player that reads AAC or be Mac compatible then the Mini is the way to go.

Yeah Zen Micro is the way to go, I have one myself and is very pleased with it. 1 more gb of memory and plus, it just sounds better than the mini.

zen micro would be the better choice, i'd get a mini just because of the versatility of the buttons, the micro's is a little bit flimsy.

Actually with the new firmware the micro should be recognized as a hard drive by any OS, and doesn't require any jumping through hoops to load music onto it (like the ipod), so it would be Mac-compatible.

I have the 4GB ipod Mini, I got it because it is easier to navigate menus, it is sturdier, it is more popular and therefore has more pheripherals to connect it to, but most of all, because it supports lossless audio which (as far as I know) the zen doesn't.
