What to get for sister as wedding present?

My sister's getting married in a few weeks, and also moved into a new house..so it could be a combo wedding/housewarming gift.

What's appropriate for such situations? I figure I could spend up to ~$400-$500 or so.

Pics of sister to help us determine the appropriate gift?

I suppose the ever popular "dick in a box" is out of the question?

You never know how close they might be. :awe:

My vote would be some kind of pillow / furniture that looks like a spider.

Why don't you check her registry? Money is good too, but directly off the registry is everything that she and her fiance picked out anyways so it'd be a better choice.

No blenders and shit. Unless they dont have some appliances don't get them those. We have about 3-4 appliances yet to be opened.

Why do you ask us? Take her word for it in her wedding registry.

I swear, I had a couple people get us shit that wasn't on our registry, and it was either complete crap or it overlapped something that was on the registry that someone else gave. And, if you're looking at 400-500, chances are you'll find a nice food processor or knife set on the registry that she is interested in.

Why don't you buck tradition and get something for your future brother in law.

At most weddings the gifts are geared toward what the Bride likes or wants. The husbands usually couldn't care less.
