I came across a great deal for a used mid 2014 13 inch Macbook Pro Retina with 8GB RAM and 512GB HD for under $1000. I am debating whether to pick this up or wait 6 months or so for the Skylake revision.

I have a 5 year old Sony Vaio laptop that is really showing it's age. What say you?

normally it would run you $1799 + tax.

Seems like a good deal. If it is still covered under the original 1 year warranty you can add AppleCare if you like.
