What to do with well over 400 movie posters?!

I might have been interested in a few... not sure if I want to pay for the whole lot of them 😛

Sorry bout that. But the prospect of splitting it up was just too much for us. We didn't have the time to organize all of that and the poster tubes to ship all of them in. Also, my girlfriend brought up the point that if we got rid of all of the good ones, who would want the rest?

We really wanted to get the big boxes out of the way so we can move our shelves back into our office and get things in our house back to the way they need to be. The extra work I guess just wasn't worth the hassle for us.

Everyone saying they want it for the cost of shipping are being greedy. He has it up for $9.99 for all those posters?! Granted, it will probably go up in price, that's not a bad starting price at all. Great fvcking deal if you ask me.

Technically, my girlfriend was to the point where she didn't care if they went for $1, as long as they got out of here, and they do actually belong to her. We also just couldn't throw them away, that would be insanity.

If it goes for $9.99, that's cool, for my trouble I suppose.

homestarmy, ill take em all for $10 right now..paypal you right now if you want 😀

Maybe before I spent all of the time on making that ebay page 😉. That's hard work!

And don't forget how heavy these babies are... ~110 lbs!

$25.😀

Now if I was just one of those pay members over at AVS forum, I could probably make a billion dollars out of these. Man that really sucks that they make you pay them before you can post anything in a for sale forum.

wow, i would love an X-Files movie poster, and a ST: First Contact poster. They would look great in my garage somewhere.

I'll ask the person that gets it if they would like for me to give contact information to all of the people that want specific posters. Most likely the person who purchases it will resell most of them I would bet.

damn...that's gorgeous 😛 How did I miss this thread the first time around? I love collecting movie posters...

That's pretty sweet though...I imagine that if you posted about this on AVS or HTF, you would've gotten more attention. I wish I could've helped you out.

I'm also surprised that no one offered just to buy the lot on ATOT...I would've, had I seen this the thread. A little up front and then different members could get whichever posters they wanted. ah well.

Maybe someone here at AT will buy them and split em up. I'm sure there will be profit in it. I will be sad to see them do it and make all the money that I could have 😉.

What is HTF? I'll look for maybe a hometheaterforum.com website or something...

EDIT: I found it. I signed up, but hopefully they approve me before long so I can put a post up there...

Anyone wanna link to my auction over there for me 😉...

Group them in lots of 5 or 10. Funny comedies together, kids moves, blah...

that'd make sense. But that's a lot of posters.

Yeah, we thought about it and we just didn't have enough rolls and enough time to do that...

The price doesn't mean anything until those last few seconds nowadays. People are just sniping (waiting until the last 10 seconds and bidding) either manually, or with one of the services which are now readily available.

And the people who don't want to do that are almost forced to... I kind of wish ebay had a 'going, going, gone' type of mode where it would not end until someone hasn't bidded for a minute etc.
