LOL It's funny, but I was thinking the Sarah Michelle Gellar/Jack Black version of that movie, where he turned the ring into a Prince Albert!!!

Can I have the girl?

she's back on the market, but awfully picky!
Is that some attempt to brag on yourself? :p

I suggest finding a local jewelery consignment shop. You may end up doing better than a pawn shop. eBay, you'd lose too much in fees and who knows what the bid would end up at.

Bad night?
Bad Week?
Bad Month?

Maybe you can work it out. Sometimes, the reason we got together don't change, just our schedules. Decide what is important, and take course. Love never really changes, really, if it's love, really. :)

1. Find hot young chick
2. Give her the ring
3. Have hot engagement sex
4. Break up and take the ring back
5. Rinse and repeat until you lose the ability to attract young chicks

that is actually a brilliant plan...

except #2 doesn't work as it's a male ring

gets me thinking though. i got a divorce last week and i *do* haver her ring, in addition to my own

$700, that it?

LOL. Yeah, $700 ring? No wonder it didn't work out :D

How many guys spend $700 on their own ring?

i sure as hell didnt

we both had bands that werent too pricey, and then she had the engagement ring.

Keep it to pick up chicks?? I understand there are womens out there that just want sex from married men with no strings attached, having that ring and playing the field saying your married will allow you to have the sex with such womens. If thats what you want, you know a little bickity bang, wiggy wiggy, pop bang splooge, theres the door :)

You could write a clever story and sell it on ebay.

perhaps you could wear a dress.

The problem with quality jewelry is you're paying a premium for the design, craftsmanship and quality, even with the most generic wedding bands. Most quality jewelry will have some kind of small logo on the inside done by the designer/mfg, as opposed to a lot of other generic crap out there which might only have some indication of the purity. And that might be questionable. Unfortunately, the resale value to a pawn shop or a coin shop will be based solely on current market precious metal prices.

So you might have better luck on eBay or selling on consignment.

BTW, the bridesmaid is awfully cute, with a nice tan. Is she single?

I wonder what "Good Ole Tom" (the local pawn shop) would give him for this. They're showing a lot of commercials looking for gold right now.
