I have collected pratically every computer game box that I have ever purchased.... the disks and manuals for some are gone, but the original box still remains. Most are in mint condition, but not all...

And we are going quite a ways back, ie: 1984 original Kings Quest 1 box, space quest 1, original quake, original doom, original duke nukem, original castle wolfenstien, original sim city from 1989 etc...

Im moving and i really cant justify hauling 7 large boxes of smaller computer game boxes with me. Yet i dont really wanna throw out and burn 15 years of my life history... there is probably the equiv of 20,000 dollars worth of investment there at their original price!! hehe

Im a pack rat, and i know i ahve to dispose of this, but its sooooooooooo hard :p

what would you guys do? I coudl throw them on ebay but the time and effort involved is sorta a pain, unless i did one big bulk sale.

I'm thinking of just keeping the old ones, and ditching the others

Pull one of those ps2 box ebay things where you say that you're only selling the box in 1pt font.

Unfortunately this nutcase kept them in mint condition for some psychotic reason and wouldn't want to do that. ;)

that's what i was thinking -they should fit in a few packrat boxes

otherwise, set up a nice pyramid outside in the yard and burn 'em!

you keep boxes for games you have no software for? you should seek a support group of some kind.

Sell them on eBay, but CLEARLY state every other sentance that it's only the boxes. Sell them a few at a time.

I bet you would make some money.

I had this problem once, but they were just taking up too much room so I broke them up and threw them away. Now whenever I buy I a game I just resolve to throw the box away immediately.

Make a Mural on your basement wall with the front of each game box.

I'd line my walls with them, sort of like a video-game brick wall. If you have a room dedicated for your computer, I think it would be pretty cool to have a wall or two lines with boxes from floor to ceiling...
