I have a ton of mp3s that need renamed into artist - cd - song format.
I also need to have the ID3 tags entered with that info.
how do i do this without doing it manually?

it will take forever to do it manually.

I coulda sworn we had this exact issue in Software several times already.

I know somebody over there posted links to one decent freeware program.

I use this one

It's pretty intuitive, and you can create tags from file names and vice-versa.
I ususally open a folder at a time and correct away.

Convert

tag--- Filename (it's usually the first one when you right click the selection.)

So I'll highlight my selection, right click, go to the convert sub-menu, and click on the TAG----Filename option.

I haven't figure most of the options yet, but for my basic renaming use it works well

If you get careless you can cause yourself a lot of heartache
