I'm smart enough not to fight somebody near their home. Only bad things will come of that. People tend to get others involved when they're near their home.

Moralpanic, I've asked you a few times already, how old are you?

You are hiding from the question I can see. Or you'll make some lame excuse why you don't need to tell me or why I don't need to know.

Sta ... Oh, you don't want to use violence.

Like was said before, restraining orders are your friend. Start him off at 50 feet, and bump him back from there progressively as needed.

I agree, if she isn't ignoring him, either she wants to keep him around for some reason or she just needs a gentle reassurance that blowing him off is the right thing to do......or a nice can of delightful, delicious pepper spray.

In this case, it sounds like the other guy is much bigger than the poster, therefore the poster doesn't want a fight.

I think a restraining order against the guy will just make him angry, and he'll probably pay the poster a visit.

Because it would help explain your behavior. If you're a young guy I'd probably be able to understand and forgive you.

Like I said, how old are you?

Notice how moralpanic is avoiding the question at all costs. He'll make ANY reply EXCEPT telling his age.

He's probably a 17 year old hiding behind his screenname.

That's right... if it makes you feel any better you can think that.

See above regarding restraining orders. If he's made any actual threats of violence, just call the police and tell them you want this stalker/abusive ex to stay 50 feet away from both of you. If he tries anything stupid, he can go to prison and be Bubba and Tyrone's ass-bitch for a few months.

(Note - "you" refers to the original poster, not you, Marshall :) )

How about you just tell me how old you are instead of dodging the question every time?

MarhsallJ & MoralPanic why don't you guys go start your own little thread. You can call it 2 tough guys efighting over the Internet about who is more of a eman. Or you can call it, I'm etougher than you and will ebeat you up. Grow up and quite wasting space in this thread. And no, I don't want to meet either of your for a fight and no I'm not going to respond to either of your posts if your previous posts are any indication of your intelligence levels.

On topic, I'd say there isn't a whole lot you can do, stuff like this happens with ex's all the time. The only thing you could do is tell your gf to try and avoid talking to him and/or tell the ex-bf that what he is doing just isn't cool. I don't think telling the principal is going to do much and I doubt any court or the cops will do much (unless the guy starts threatening her or you), this sounds like typical high school stuff to me.

MarshallJ, stop the crap. You were the one who just started a thread a few weeks ago about how members act immature perhaps due to age. And here you are pulling the legs of someone because of his point of view. If you want to start getting personal, use PM. I will notify the mods if you or Moral Panic do not suspend the personal attacks, not to speak of threats from either parties. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, in spite of how ridiculous it might sound. You don't start to attack them personally or threaten them in anyway.

Actually if you read the thread which took place about SARS last night, I was being civil for quite some time while Moralpanic repeatedly made insults against me personally. I was all for keeping the discussion mature and impersonal, while he continuously attacked my character instead of sticking to the point. I pointed out several times that he's not addressing the point at hand, that he was targeting my character, yet he refused to stop.

ONLY after that did I break down and go after him. I figured that he wanted it to be personal, so why not give him what he wants?

I am all for having a grown up, rational discussion. But I can only take so much crap before I give someone what they have coming to them.

I feel as though nobody does anything to stop people from making personaly attacks against me or other members, yet when the person gets fed up and starts fighting back, then everyone blames that person for reacting. You really should discourage the personal name calling in the first place since it's uncalled for and only instigates a larger confrontation.

Moralpanic, I personally never wanted to argue with you in the first place.

I apologize for getting out of hand, but I'm only human and can only take so much prodding before I lose it. I really wished that we could have a conversation without any personal namecalling or threats.

I'm willing to stop the aggressiveness if you're willing to stop the personal insults. But I'm not going to act alone and just sit there and take it while someone constantly throws insults.

Chill out
