What to do with "dated" textbooks

I have a 10th edition of some sociology book and now there is an 11th edition out. Before it was worth 60-70 dollars, now I see people struggling to sell them for 5 dollars on ebay. What should I do with it?

Flip through it once every few years to refresh the topics in your head? Sociology can be pretty interesting.

Either public or your own.

My friend actually buys old editions and use them in the class. He says usually little is changed. Perhaps you can sell it with that in mind.

Bonfire at the beach. Textbooks actually burns longer than I originally expected. 10 books lasted me more than an hour.
