what to do with an old p2 secc fan + heatsink

p2 heatsink on a vid card? that's crazy. I was thinking to do that with my retail athlon heatink but it would take up 4 pci slots with a fan.

heh, well this would take 1, maby 2 slots.. ive got lots to spare, only a nic in the entire pci bus, and a isa sb 16

hrmm, what about putting some thermal paste between the tnt2 heatsink and the core?
i wonder how well its on there now..
anybody have any advice for doing this? it might give me some more speed, it crashes in 3d games @ 160mhz core, but 155 runs fine. so maby i can push it to 160 with the addition of some silicon thermal compound.. of course, then i would have to secure it to the card. zip ties anyone
