What to do with almost 40 apples.

So, I have bout 40 apples in a box here. But considering no one eats them, they're starting to go a bit soft.

I need some ideas over what to do with them so they don't get wasted.
Don't say mass applesauce.

They freeze well, so no worries about having too many. Oh, and make the crust from scratch. It will be worth it.

Not too interested, preserving them just means they're going to get tossed during a clean up, need them in a form thats not sliced apples
