That's the main reason why I didn't consider upgrading. WTF am I going to do with 20mbps upstream?

I'd get a bunch of legal torrents to prove legal uses of it and such. Seed a Linux ISO, etc. Don't set up TOR unless you'll be leaving your comp on 24/7.

Lol, it's not like you have to use the bandwidth just because it's available.

I'd probably set my PC up so I could access all my files remotely, or maybe even do remote desktop. At 20Mbps even large files (movies, music, etc.) could load very quickly. Heck, you could easily stream high-def video. :D

Of course I have to use it! Think of all the bandwidth-starved children in Africa! ;) I have indeed thought about remote rsync ... hd webcam is an interesting idea but would be boring as hell to watch. The 2nd link in my original post is the guarantee to stay out of legal trouble while seeding torrents, and I'm a supporter of CC anyway.

Not being much of a gamer anymore I hadn't thought about a gameserver. That's something to consider.

More than likely it's against their TOS.

Not that I know of. My current 15/2 has been thoroughly abused without incident.

And as far as TOS goes, I'll take the risk. You give a civilian a tank, you're going to have problems whether or not you tell him not to drive it. :)
