What to do when you find a cheater

Hehe, funny. Still funny even if it was staged. I've often wished I could do something like that.

I remember an incident back before I'd fixed the "morph cheat" in my Tribes mod. (let you switch armors and buy items without being at an inventory station) There was guy who'd been complained about previously and repeatedly. He was warned, but instead of stopping he just tried to be clever about it. He'd never do it when someone was observing, never did it when anybody was looking, but it just seemed weird how he was always in the right armor for the situation. So one day, after another complaint, I come in and observe him for a bit. Nothing happens, so I change teams to his team. Now the thing you need to know about Tribes is that there is a Command screen where you can issue commands to teammates, look at a map of the level, check the status of turrets/stations/etc., and see what your teammates are doing. I go in to the command screen, watch him for a bit and sure enough I catch him blatantly change armors after checking to make sure nobody's looking. And what does he say when I tell him I've caught him? "Bulls%$#, nobody was around, you're making it up." Yeah, great thing to say to the admin. He got banned hard. :laugh:

I dont care if its staged, it was still hilarious, and should really be done to someone who is found truly cheating

because the whole video is fake. there was an AT'er there and he said it was all staged.
