What to do when the police will do nothing?

Go to your public officials, if they dont put pressure on police, go to local media sources than I am sure cops would be patrolling like crazy and even might set up a bust

Its a shame. Ive seen these jack asses do far more damage removing the stereo than they will ever get for the freaking things. Call your insurance company if they are reimbursing your customers and see if they can help with some suggestions or pay for added security.

You are correct, but I'm sure his shop isn't the only business in town that the Police have to patrol.

for real, security is your business. Fences and locked, secure garages, are usually more then adequate. since they dont allow fences you got to substitute for either a guard or off-location storage of vehicles

I like that idea.

Tell the local government that this directly affects the city. The thefts means less buisness, which means less $$, which means less taxes.
