holy christ i cant believe some people trust others so much with their computers. My computer is like my house: no ones comes in unless theyre invited, and if they get invited, they're still guests.

I keep financial records, PIM files, documents, and other files of critical importance on my computer. A software mirror ensures important documents and files get replicated hourly to the other 120gb hdd. Computer auto-locks after 15 minutes of inactivity. Anyone who uses it on a semi-regular basis (girlfriend, etc) gets their own acct. Personally, i think that if you have porn on your computer and you leave it unlocked, that's your own damn fault.

haha I feel for you man, I'm only 16 and have gotten caught too- twice. Both by my mom. Imagine yourself being on the computer watching a classic, then feeling the tap on your back letting you know your mom was there to watch you jerkin your gherkin. Hmm not nice.

But, the good thing was, she didn't even care. she even got my a subscription to playboy.

I'd be willing to bet that p2p has cost the porn industry a hell of a lot more than the music industry.

regardless stick to what you like...for as many women that hate pics/movies of whatever be it porn or sci fi or etc there are a ton that could care less or even crave it.

I am married to a very very 'proper japanese woman' (her quote )....and I love downloading pics of women while I work....along with cars and pc stuff.

She knows I wouldn't cheat on her without reason and I know the same...a lot of the stuff she likes is too tame for me and I accept it.

Wow this thread is most definitely the best thread in the past 6 months at least. But man 90 gigs is a lot....
I seriously hope that "molestation" category is just acting and not real-live molestation or rape in progress... Otherwise you would have some serious issues.

Some things I've learned today about hiding porn:

1.) Via gpedit.msc User Configuration->Admin Templates->StartMenu & TaskBar->Enable the following options: Remove Documents menu from the Start Menu; Do not keep a history of recently opened documents; Clear history of recently opened documents upon exit; Disable personalized menus; Disable user tracking.

2.) Download TweakUI and use the "Hide Documents in Start Menu Option"

3.) Use a separate partition and tell it not to mount in Windows...

4.) Give the SO a separate account if you're in Win2k or XP with limited access

5.) Get some pgp software and password the files.

6.) Rename the folders to Temp.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} or something of that like and it will take the person to the Control Panel. Go into DOS command prompt to rename folder back when you "need" it

7.) Another TweakUI tip hide entire drives from the My Computer list. Whenever you need the drive... show the address bar and type it in there.

8.) Create a zip file within another zip file

9.) Use Drive Crypt to create virtually encrypted partitions. Mount when needed.

10.) Go to this website for all your porn hiding needs
