heh you can rename folders to something like Temps.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} so when someone tries to open them it will take them to the control panel.

i did!...no go...it shows new folder name but it has the control panel icon as the folder, not like a blank folder,

You might have to download TweakUI to get the "Hide Documents in Start Menu" option. That's what I used to do it on my computer (to clean up the Start menu, not for paranoia reasons).

I have to second this. Really nice utility. And it can be set to auto wipe chaches and the like.

I would also suggest you take this as a good time to lean about networking on a Windows machine, and just how to set up and control access accounts. That way your next girl friend won't encounter the same thing.

For one thing, noobs... TweakUI allows you to hide entire drives from the My Computer list. Whenever you need the drive... show the address bar and type it in there. Secondly, use it to hide My Documents altogether.
