What to do w/ failed HDD?

Sorry if its been posted before; I did a little searchy but didn't see anything.

I have a failed SCSI drive from a RAID array that is just sitting on my desk. I feel like I shouldn't throw it away. Any suggestions on what to do with it? There is a computer parts recycling place somewhere in the city; is it worth it to just drop off one drive?

 
I just strip the drives.

Cases go into my scrap aluminum pile, magnets go for side projects and "toys"

Got lots of upgrades and toys for scrap copper/aluminum/brass and 'pop' can returns.🙂
