what to do in Orlando?

I'm going to Orlando in a month and want to find cool stuff to do, bars, clubs, food. I also want to drive to a nice beach somewhere. Thanks

You'll have to drive a bit to get to a beach. Orlando isn't on the coast. Ever heard or Disney World or Universal Studios? Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney for bars...

I don?t mind driving, mapquest says about an hour to Daytona. But I'm sure there are better ones. Don?t want to do any family crap, just :beer: and Disney+bars=really?

yes Downtown disney + the area near Universal has lots of more adult venues.

Also I believe Emril has a restaurant there if you are in to that stuff.

No, dont goto downtown disney for the bars, you'll be out your a$$ for drinks there. there are plenty of places downtown, but it all depends on where you are staying. Fiddlers green is nice, thats in winter park(close to orlando).

Daytona is about 45min - 1 hour away. Cocoa is a little further i believe, they are both nice.

Go to the parks, go on International Drive...so much stuff to do there. It's really nice downtown too if you feel like checking it out. Go at night, I love it during nighttime down there.

Another vote for International Drive. If your into any type of racing stop by Race Rock. A very cool place to see and the food is inexpensive. I also visited Universal City Walk and had dinner at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.

Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is good, but expensive. If you have the time and money, Cirque du Soleil in Orlando is pretty cool.

I used to drive by the one on Sand Lake all of the time on the way to work (used to work in the FL mall).

Its on Orange Avenue going north, right before Sandlake Road.

You gotta be crazy. I went to Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney last night and it was much bigger and much more crowded than City Walk. Plus, parking is free, and you only have to pay if you go into a club. We drank like fish and their drinks are stout. They seriously put about 3ozs of liquor into anything you order at the outside kiosks. I was so trashed last night...

Smoked some nice Romeo y Julieta cigars too. We had a blast.
