What to do in Chicago?

Museum of Science and Industry, Art Institute of Chicago, Field Museum (gem room is pretty cool), Planetarium, see a Cubs / White Sox game, the Aquarium, the Lincoln Park Zoo, Millenium Park, SEARS TOWER SKYDECK, Michigan Ave, Giordanos Pizza, Vienna Beef, ride the L around the Loop, bars on Rush street, little hole in the wall Jazz bars... the possibilities are endless.

I don't know if it's still there, the Museum of Science and Industry had a captured German U-Boat you can walk through, it's really cool.

Giordano's Pizza - Absolute must.

Grab a drink or two or three at a beer garden as well. I had never heard of that term until I came here.

Ah, a beer garden...I've been meaning to hit one up. Any suggestions? I've only seen a few and we get Goose Island up here in MI so I remember that brewery.

eat at Mortons

All of the above are great, but eat at Fogo de Choa. If you've never experienced Brazilian cuisine, you're missing out.

Steaks:
Gibsons or The Chophouse for high-end (Morton's is a chain!)
Wildfire for more affordable (Tasted even better than Morton's if you ask me, at half the cost!)

Greek is awesome too, I like Athena's (it's the only place I've been too, but there's a reason I keep going back 😉 )

Oh, if you go to Giordano's get thick crust, thin is nowhere as good.

Beer gardens... there are so many, I really don't know where to suggest. Pretty much any one in a crowded area (Clark St. or Lincoln Ave. or glitzy Rush St. are all equally good if the weather is right) is great.

What are you in town for and where are you staying?

wrigley field (chicago cubs)
us cellular (chicago white sox)
united center for michael jordan statues
millennium park
navy piers
michigan ave in downtown chicago
deep dish pizza anywhere!

yes i'm not from chicago but i visited them and loved it.
