I currently have Charter Communications and I have had a technician come out to the house multiple times and the internet is still as slow as a 56k modem (litterally according to speed test sites) and the Charter Communications high speed internet technicians that come out never ever fix the problem.

I mean if I just stop paying they turn my ****** off so what the hell am I suppose to do when they fail to fix their ******? I also failed to mention that they are the only provider of broadband service in my area which ****** blows!

Call them up, tell them that many techs came out and didn't fix the problem. Ask for a credit. If they can't fix it, I guess it was not meant to be for you to have high speed internet.

That kind of local monopoly sucks.
The stereo sound was screwed up on some channels on my cable at home. I watch TV on my PC a lot, and I'll often use headphones; having one channel of sound cut out can be quite distracting, and even disorienting.
The guy came out, listened to the TV, heard the problem, but his little tester thing said that the cable signal was fine. He told me that he had other problem calls to deal with, this was a minor problem, and that he didn't have time to try to figure out what the problem was. He said it was most likely the TV. I explained that this happens on other sets, and he repeated his, "I'm really busy with other problem calls" line, and left.
I don't care if it was a "minor" problem - it's still a problem with the service that's costing a fair amount of money. It should be fixed.
It's so nice to have service technicians that don't provide technical service.

I'd call them everyday and complain and make them come back out. Eventually they will get tired of hearing from you and either cut you off or fix it.
