Good Start. You're planning things instead of asking the girl what she wants to do. I've noticed girls don't like it when you ask too much.

One thing you have to do is show her a good time. Personality is everything with a lil bit of presentability. Act confident, Make her laugh and don't compliment her too much. If anything, make her feel like just another girl you meet everyday. I heard if you have an argument, you'll most likely go further with the person. pwuaha~

I was thinking about how some lamer on this board asked really awkwardly to hold this girls hand. Probably one of the funniest threads I have seen on this board. Don't worry I will make the Anandtech community proud 🙂 And as always I will keep you guys posted because I know you are all waiting with belated breathe 🙂

Ok guys I had the date on Saturday and it went pretty well for one exception. The dinner went well and going to play pool went well. I had her laughing practically all night. Around 11:00 I was getting bored with pool so I suggested we go to the park. She said ok and I got lost so we are were driving around for like 25 minutes because I didn't know where the hell I was going. lol. She was laughing the whole time and thought it was pretty damn funny. She even said this would be a good story to tell her friends so I am guessing her friends think I am a jackass also. lol I was pretty embarrassed so I just went to drop her home. And surprisingly she asked to see what I was doing tomorrow because she wanted to do something. Now my question I looked like a jackass driving around for like 25 minutes not knowing where the hell I am going and she wants to make plans for the next day with me? Does looking like a jackass win bonus points with the ladies? lol

That sound great. I think when the girl is willing to laugh around you it means that she's comfortable beign with you. Good job. 🙂
 
Welcome to the club of getting lost on dates. I did it on almost all of my first dates. I was new to the town and had no idea where I was going, so she had to tell me where to go each inch of the way. I still get lost all the time (something I inherited from my dad unfortunately).

Anyhow, if she's asking to see you the next day, and you like her, grats to ya. I wouldn't worry anything about getting lost ... it was nothing, 25 minutes or not, it didn't bug her.

If a girl likes you, it doesn't matter what you say or do, because she'll see you again. I wouldn't say looking like a jackass wins points all the time. Making a girl laugh is all you really need to do.

As long as you were laughing about it and not being some angry freak, sure she probably found it really cute. Perfection is not as attractive as you think. It's dealing with the little roadblocks which endear you to someone. Most girls pick up on that stuff better then guys.
