Well, I guess I am lucky to have this dilemma...

Which CPU/mobo combo should I use for my main box?

Running win2k/XP
Geforce2 GTS 32mb

assume that all other components remain the same...
scsi hdd, cd, cdrw, etc....

I play alot of games, but i also do a lot of CAD and 3d Visualization stuff. These apps are multithreaded so they will take advantage of the second cpu.

My question is:

Will I get more (all around) from the dual 933 or from the single 1.4?

go with the single processor system, it is just less hassle and you wont notice a big performace difference at all.

If you plan on having additional clients using the server, put the dualie on it.

Other wise I would just have to use it as my workstation. IMHO
