What to do and see in Vancouver, BC?

I'm driving up to Vancouver with friends and family for a wedding, and I'm going to be there for 4 days. I've been there once, for 1 day, but didn't really get to see any of the sites. Can any locals suggest sights and/or attractions? I've heard about Stanley Park, but that's about the only location I know of. Thanks in advance!

Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain (just north of the city), walk down Robson Street to English Bay...

Nothing much to do in Vancouver. What are your interests?

Hiking can be fun, as long as it's not grueling or far from the city. Mainly just looking to do sighseeing.

I just came back from Vancouver and Victoria. I can safely say that almost everything I did and sample cost more in Canada than the United States. Gas, Motels and food were MORE expensive than America. So bring more $$ or be careful how you spend your bucks.

By the way, I noticed that there was a lack of tourism up there but maybe its too early in the summer.

Obviously it's cheaper in the U.S.. Out dollar is 1/4 less in value than yours.

Haven't been there in the summer, but I have two words for you in the winter. Whistler/Blackcomb!

Dude, what's with the attitude?

Maybe you are a better tour guide than I am, but every time my friends visit me here, I have trouble finding places to go to. Or maybe it's because I live here, so I don't notice anything special to do.

Oh yeah, our beaches are quite nice. What's around UBC Endowment Lands? I've been going to UBC for 3 years and I never walked around that area.

Probably because our dollars went up. We travelled across the US just now and ended up spending less than expected.

The art museum downtown is world class imo, and had a pretty nice cafe the last time I visited.

Oh yeah, on a sunny day, just grab a hot dog from the Mr Tube Steak and sit on the steps of the art gallery on Robson and people/car watch.

LOL, there aren't nearly as many crack ho's here as in Vancouver, but I gotta agree with you on the pot. The cops will bust grow ops but they don't go after single users really.

I've been meaning to check it out some day, but all my friends so far advised me against it.

Well if you want to see real old knarlly dudes then go ;) They have lots of good looking women (depending on the day) but you have to partake in the nudity to stay or they will kick you out. No big deal.
