Hi all:

A few friends and I are heading to Greensboro, NC for the NCAA b-ball round 1 and 2 games during Mar-17 to Mar-22. A bunch of guys (all programmers), no wives/kids. We'll be staying about a mile from the Coliseum.

What are the good local restaurants (at least 1 good BBQ) ?
Any tours/parks worthwhile ?
Not all of us play golf, so what's a good/moderately priced course ?

We'll have a few cars, so driving a hour to see something is fine. We figured we'd stop at the NC zoo.

Thanks

Greensboro is a pretty lame town to begin with. The only time the place seems alive is during ACC tournament time. Maybe some actual city dwellers can shed some more light on the matter, but I lived in Burlington for 13 years (just a few miles down the road from G'boro), and both places seem lifeless.
