I'm currently using an Athlon 2000+ processor...looking to upgrade to either an Athlon 64 or P4 3.0ghz+ I mainly play games on this computer. What type of processor would be better for that? And which motherboard would best fit it? Thanks in advance 😉

Games - A64. Mobo, I would wait until a good amount of NF3 chipsets come out for socket 939.
 
i would get an A64. TiaMat is right in saying you should wait for a good 939 mobo. looks like 939 is going to be the future of A64.
