Prices are the same, and the second part is only your opinion.

I am also trying to decide between X-box and PS2. I am definitely leaning X-box, World Series baseball reviews sound good, my only knocks against the X-box is no DVD remote included, I have to wait to get a NCAA football game:frown:
I buy console games pretty much just for sports games and other games that are fun to sit around with your buddies and play and I think that the x-box will do that pretty well for me.
If I go X-Box I can't wait to play Halo, World Series baseball, Transworld surf, Tony hawk 3, NFL2k2. I think I'll really like it I would get a gamecube and save fifty bucks but, their sports games particulary baseball games are always suck!!!! Except for Ken Griffy Jr. on super nintendo it rocked.

"the second part is only your opinion"..... that was already implied when he said "i think"![]()
Sure that might be the case, but it also might be that Microsoft has like 9 times the amount of cash that Sony does as a whole, and can afford to pour a ridiculous amount of money into their console, while Sony cannot.

1. Sony is not what I'd consider poor.
2. How much of the $40 Billion is Microsoft willing to spend on the XBox? Not all of it, I'd imagine. Windows/Office is their bread and butter, and will be for at least many years to come.
I still think the PS2 is the best of the three, followed by the Gamecube.
XBox has a lot of potential, they're just nowhere near using it. I'm not going to buy a system for what it might do.
And you think the PS2 is Sony's b&b?
