there is very little demand for a manual tanny in a car like the LS. I don't have any actual figures, but I wouldn't be surprised that less than 10 percent of LS sold have manuals. I hear caddy may not have a manual tranny in it's up coming v8 rwd car for the same reason. no sales
some fords suck, but I have never had a bad one, ever car company has made lemons.
I have owned 3 cougars, a 92, a 93 and a 95. I wouldn't buy the last fwd small cougar's there not very good cars.
I bought the 92 and 93 new. I still have the 95. The 93 was the best car I ever owned, it was loaded 5.0 V8 , abs , full leather , posi rear end. I sold it with 180,000 miles on it. I still got 3000 dollars with that many miles on it, and kinda wish I still had it.
I also have a mercury Grand marquis, a loaded 94 with 146K miles, it's been a good car, and I like it.
another great car I had was 1980 chrysler new yorker 5 ave, with a 360 V8. I dumped it at about 200K
my first car was a 1970 ford mavierick, it was a good car also
