I can run my system stable at 5-4-4-8 ram timings. The ram runs at 4-4-4-10 in windows just fine but Prime95 gives me errors an hour into stress testing. With it at 5-4-4-8 I get no errors. My question, is it best to run it at 5-4-4-8 or better at 5-5-5-15? Not sure ifs its better to have the first three #s the same. The ram is 4-4-4-12 timed by default but since I overclock my mobo bus to 1600Mhz, Prime95 gives me errors at original settings. I appreciate any advice.

Did you find speed? :)

No difference eh? I figured just as much. Wonder whats up with the 401 as opposed to 400. How could that possible make the system more stable at 4-4-4-12? As for the hard drive, many people told me its just not worth it to get SCSI and that the latest raptor X drive is just as fast if not faster at certain tasks. I also read on the anatech website that theres no difference when raiding two drives as opposed to using a single. Seeing as the raptor X isnt a whole lot faster then my current raptor 36.6, I see no point in upgrading. Damn shame. Wish hard drives progressed a lot faster when it comes to speed. Took 2 years for the raptor x to show and its not much faster then my current drive. Oh well.

No, I read a few reviews of it comparing it to other drives such as the atlas II and ratpro 36.6. The X is only slightly faster then the rest. Scsi does surpass it in a few benchmarks though.
