I shave at night myself. My beard doesn't grow quickly so I don't get too stubbly during the day. I've tried in the morning but I always forget or run late if I do.
 
If you use a blade, I'd go for the after (or during) a shower. I use electric and prefer to do it Before I shower when the bristles are harder so they snip right off.
 
I have to shave in the morning, usually do so before a shower if I'm using my electric razor. If I'm using a blade, I'll do it afterwards (or sometimes in the shower, depending).
 
In the mornings, in the shower, I have fairly thick facial hair. Those triple bladed razors are just more expensive than the double, but my wife keeps getting them (3) instead. Damn marketing...

I can't imagine what they want for a 10 pack of the 4 bladed razors... first born?
 
Mach3 after the shower or electric in the car when I am late for work. Can't get out of bed in time for work on most occasions.

The electric does a better job than the straight edge on the face but is useless on my neck and vice versa.

I shave once a day. The only time I shave at night is on Saturdays before going out to the bars.
 
every morning, after the shower. i using one of the new gillette m3power thingies. its nice. i still shave down then up again to get real close though. this is followed with cheap cheap aftershave.

Yeah, that makes sense. I usually do it either before shower, or after shower, but when the skin has competely dried up. Otherwise the hair does not stand up against the rotating blade, and you can't get a very close shave.

Agreed. I shave every morning in the shower.

I use a Mach 3 blade.
 
Usually late at night, after shower. But sometimes early evening, if I have to go out and look unpresentable.

Before I shower. I use a Gilette Sensor with the Sensor Exel (sp?) blades. Gilette sent me the sensor for my 18th birthday. Now I'm 27 and have bought blades for it ever since (using the same stick part of it though). I guess their little freebie paid off for them.
