What this GRiD pad worth?

I've got this GRiD pen computer. It's a 386 25 with a 40MB hdd, 8MB of RAM, battery, charger, floppy, etc.

I want to sell it. It doesn't sound like much on paper, but this little guy has a perfect use for the perfect user....

Because it's a pen computer, it's great to draw with and make web graphics (as well as play solitaire on long trips).

I actually used it to make a lot of graphics for my VW website (see this, this and this and this) while lounging around on the sofa, but I think it's time to retire it.

Does anyone think this thing is worth something to someone else where I could actually NOT give it away? I can't find a good "base" because anything I've seen on eBay is "for parts" and going for $20 and this sure as hell is not "for parts".

Its a 386, thats pretty much just novelty value to most people anymore, a 486 is barely tolerable ;) I'd suggest putting it on ebay with like a $30 reserve and see how it does. Its $30 you didn't have before :D

Damn yakko.... we have to wait until AFTER we're done with the mountain bike. What other parts are you missing/forgot to buy/received wrong? ;)

If it has a parallel port, and works with the TurboLink software, you could get ~ $100.00 for it from Turbo Buick guys, with help from a seasoned Buick community member of course.

And if it DOES have an LPT port..

/me digs for owed favors....

If you've gotta stylus/tablet that I could plug into my desktop PC, I'd consider a trade. ;)

I don't want to give up PC doodling... I just want to thin the collection a bit. :D

Is it possible to hook up an IDE CD-Rom, that would certainly open up a lot of possibilities.
