The thing is this: I have changed (today) my old good PC100 (192 MB 128 + 64) for a new shine PC133 (192 + 64 DIMMS), so this the deal before the upgrade I can OVC my CPU (TBird 800) to 880MHz this by taking up the FSB from 100 to 110, and that was the max OC that I can do, but after te upgrade I cannot go beyond 800MHz (100MHz FSB), so what is the deal, I upgrade the memory expecting and OVC increase, but it happens in the otherwise..

Any Idea, Tip, etc..etc..

My CPU Specs Are:

AOpen MK33 Mobo.
AMD Athlon Tbird 800.
Apacer 128MB PC133.
Apacer 64MB PC133.
Fujitsu UDMA 66 HD 5400RPM.
Internat ZIP100 Drive.
AOpen PA3000+ VC.
SBLive Value AC.
AOpen HQ45 Case.
AOpen Burner CDRW.
Creative 52X CDR.
Affrey 56Kbps PCI FaxModem .

you're not gonna get much higher than 110mhz fsb, no matter what kind of ram you use

I couldn't even get an Athlon 700 Classic to do 103mhz FSB w/o being unstable. FSB overclocking on the Athlons doesn't work too good...

Guess you didn't do it right subhuman...I run 106 stable on my 850 classic, and can go 112 if I don't run multiplier as high. Besides...he's asking about a TBird.

The apacer ram is junk........this is my opinion!I will send you a program that will allow you to check the speed of the 100 against the 133, you will prob see that it is less than the 100 because of quality......post your email????

didn't "do it right" come on man. more like the DDR FSB of athlons make it less likely of an option, and the reason it's less likely remains the same on Tbirds and classic athlons, namely, it's DDR.

Hey did you try to change the settings to 133 ? cas3?

110 is great! i can't even go 102 without instability ...
i kinda agree with subhuman...these amd chips aren't made for fsb oc'ing!!!
have you guys (running 101+ fsb) tried running stability test 6.0?
i ran everything at 105fsb nothing crashed...ran this program for 15 hours...couldn't wake my computer...try it guys!

Apacer w/IBM chips is junk.
There are many people that are happy with the Apacer/Infineon chips from the computer-show.com deal awhile back.

Yeah, FSB overclocking is Bum with the Athlon line of CPU's the max I couls get stable was 105 (maybe could get higher if I didn't already have my multiplier @ 9.5, I'm just happy with my system, just waitin' on my 19inch trinitron, and 64MB GTS and more goodies for x-mas

I'm waiting for the 266 TBirds...lol...133 fsb action right out of the starting gate...266 DDR...that'll give some of you one less thing you can complain about.
