This. I've been in IT for 15 years and I am looking to get out. It gets REALLY old REALLY fast. I'm working on my PMP and hope to bow out of IT in the next couple of years.

Dude, being a PMP will lead to more stress and frustration then lead to depression. That's where I'm at. And I'm looking to get out.

I need a change of scenery. I manage projects as it is, so I might as well be compensated accordingly. It is cheaper than getting an MBA too.

EDIT: I'm seriously thinking about going the consulting route as well. There is mad cash to be made as a Sharepoint architect.

Get into Accounting. When your company closes it's doors, the accountants are the ones who lock them up. IT's long gone by then.
