I know we've all seen this picture floating around the forums, although very few (not including me) know where it originates from. So where the hell did this picture come from? Can the same pointing, skin colour, goofy smile, and ridiculous afro REALLY be coincidence? Where are these pictures coming from? 😕
 
Remember that cops show, CHIPS? It aired back in the late 70s I believe (I wasn't born yet) but it faded throughout the 80s.

me too! loved that show. "Seven Mary three and four" LOL...poor Eric Estrada, used to be a big star. now he is on soap operas in mexico and a big star there. and also he is a internet homo indicator, like the other people said.

OMG! for real? Sealab is one of the FUNNIEST shows on CN...
 
Now I really feel old...

CHiPs was a show about two California Highway Patrol motorcycle cops. They used to film a lot of it on a portion of the 118 Simi Valley freeway before it was finished between Balboa Blvd and DeSoto in the San Fernando Valley. I grew up just about a block from the 118 on White Oak St, and as kids we'd go pester the production crews that filmed there, and ride our BMX bikes in the construction areas. A LOT of 70s and early 80s TV shows filmed their freeway crash scenes on that 5 mile (give or take a couple of miles) stretch of freeway, because it took CA 15+ years to finish it.

Seriously, when I was in kindergarten, they moved the houses along that stretch (about 5 miles). And it didn't open until I was in high school.
 
I remember on Star search one time they had an Eric Estrada look alike contest. I must have been around 8 or so at the time. Man I thought he was the $hit. I wanted that hair.
 
if i remember correctly, during the last season or two of that show, they never showed Ponch and John in the same shot. Supposedly Ponch had slept with John's wife and John wouldn't do any scenes with him. I could be wrong though, maybe Ponch slept with John's dog and John got pissed because the puppies looked like Ponch.
