So I'm utterly bored with my day to day life and could use some suggestions (this may be long....no cliffs, so stop reading if you're not interested)...

Quick Facts:
I live in downtown Manhattan in the Financial District (actually on Wall St. to be exact)
Work in corporate finance for a major brokerage house (been in the news a lot recently due to many BN$ of writedowns)
Make pretty good money (so this isn't an issue....but could always make more)
Have a girlfriend (kinda bored of her....but she'll do for now)
Am 22 years old, just graduated from the University of Michigan last yr and moved to NYC a year ago

My day usually goes something like this:
8:30am ? Wake up
9:30am, - Get to work
9:30 to 10:00am Get/eat breakfast with coworkers
10-12am ? Do work
12-130 ? Goto gym
130-6ish work
6ish leave go home/happy hr with someone
7-1230am ????????????????? Bored as HELL

Repeat entire schedule, 5 days a week...

My weekdays usually almost always follow this pattern and I have absolutely nothing to do after I get home from work. Up until now I was always working towards something....my college degree, trying to get a job, etc... Now that I have that I have no idea what to do with my life. I want to goto grad school in a few yrs to get my MBA, but its too early to start thinking about that because I need about 4yrs of work experience to get into a Top 10 school.

Now I'm not lonely or anything like that... I've got plenty of friends in the city, almost all of them work in financial services, I have a roommate who is an investment banker (works 90hrs a week....so I never see him on the weekdays), and I have a girlfriend who I see way too much. Usually after work ill either go home directly or grab a beer with a friend or co worker then go home. After I go home I usually end up wasting time with the girlfriend for lack of other things to do (she lives in the bldg next door and also works in financial services)...shes cool and all, pretty cute, takes care of all my ?needs?, but im really bored of her....id dump her if I had something better to do....but its just convenient that she lives next door....call me an asshole but whatever, thats just the situation...

Now the weekends I don't have a problem with, I always go out/drink/party with friends and/or the girlfriend but my main problem is that I have do idea what the fuck to do on the weekdays....I feel like I am wasting sooo much time....so I turn here....what the hell can I do? What are some good hobbies? Ya know ppl say that you cant get bored in NYC....but shit, im bored as hell....i just dont know what to do.....

Anyways.....any suggestions.....maybe ill post more later but its 12:30am, im in bed, my laptop battery is dieing and I dont feel like getting the charger so im just gonna pass out for now.....entertain me....

Research stuff. Personally, I find military history interesting. Or look up the development of civilization. Or do something that will make you an informed person.

I plan on throwing myself into my career because its what im passionate about. Figure out what you really have a passion for and do it. You could volunteer somewhere.

Do you cook? You could kill some extra time doing that. There are lots of movies to see if you don't consider that a waste of time (I'd recommend renting since you have a lot better selection...). I know gamepad was joking, but World of Warcraft can be fun to pass the time. I play with my brother, sister, and brother-in-law. There are lots of books to read too. I tend to lose interest in traditional hobbies like musical instruments or artsy stuff, etc., but that's also an option.

A lot of good suggestions in this thread. Some of my ideas...

Reading a good book
Like one user suggested, researching something you are passionate about and becoming more informed on the topic.
Finding a hobby, such as language, models, video games, cycling, etc.?

What you need is a vice.

Sex. Alcohol. Gambling. Drugs. Video games.

These are all vices. Adopt one and then try to quit it. Video games is probably the safest. Or just pick up a book.
